Leah Roth

Dr. Roth has been a general pediatrician for over 20 years. After the birth of her own children, she developed a special interest in breastfeeding medicine and infant nutrition.
Dr. Roth completed an undergraduate degree at McGill University followed by medical school at McMaster University. She pursued her Pediatrics residency training at the Alberta Children’s Hospital where she served in the role as Chief Resident in her final year of training.
Dr. Roth has worked as a hospital-based consultant pediatrician as well as a community pediatrician, providing both general and consulting care. After training and working with Dr. Jack Newman, she established the Betterbreastfeeding clinic in 2012. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Roth enjoys teaching medical students and residents.
Dr. Roth is passionate about helping families who are struggling with babies who are difficult to feed.
