Cristina Magriñá
M.A., C.Psych.Assoc.
Cristina Magriñá is a Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario at Kindercare Psychology. She has a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Deusto, and a Master of Arts in Early Care and Family Counseling from the University of Ramon Llull. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in hospitals, government-funded clinics, and private clinics. Cristina is also a member of the Ontario Psychological Association.
Cristina is passionate about working with clients with a wide range of issues, including mood and anxiety conditions, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, emotional and behavioural dysregulation, learning difficulties, and developmental concerns. She draws upon various treatment modalities to meet her clients’ needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. A central part of her approach includes working closely with parents and caregivers, and empowering them in the journey that is parenthood. She has a special interest in supporting parents and children as they work through the process of becoming a blended family. She offers therapy in English, Spanish, and Catalan. Cristina supervises the clinical associates at Kindercare Psychology.
